| Interconnection Quality
Analysis (iQA) is a new concept that offers network operators the
benefit of less dropped calls and higher average call rates, by ensuring
that the RF interconnection is not a handicap on the overall performance
of the network.
This is achieved through a service that can certify
the installation quality of the RF interconnection by measuring for the
level of residual Passive Intermodulation (PIM) produced by the
infrastructure. Low PIM means low internal channel interference. This is
a significant part of what VAC is about. |
